Cathy, principal of Premier Tax & Wealth Advisors, has been a licensed CPA for over 25 years initially joining the financial industry solving issues surrounding taxes and financial management. In the year 2000, Cathy expanded her CPA practice to include integrated tax and wealth management services to fulfill her passion of working with individuals in a more "forward looking" manner. For her, that means helping clients identify their goals and dreams, developing a strategy to make their desired lifestyle a reality, and providing advice that touches every area of life. Cathy approaches the financial planning process from a tax and risk based perspective helping clients bridge the gap between risk and reward. As a financial advisor and CPA, Cathy is committed to life-long learning and her keen analytical skills and objective approach give her the ability to help you address any financial weaknesses you may have, build on your strengths, and address the financial planning areas that are most important to you and your family.
Cathy graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an Investment Advisor Representative of Cambridge Investment Research Advisors, Inc. Cathy holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and various state life and health insurance licenses. Cathy stays connected within the industry through various professional memberships including the Financial Services Insitute, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), AICPA Personal Financial Planning Section, CT Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA), CTCPA Trust, Estate & Gift Taxation Committee and CTCPA Federal Income Taxation Committee.
Cathy is an antique car enthusiast, enjoys walking the beach, reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
